Who We Are
Vision
A community where every human life is welcomed, valued, and protected—before and after birth—and where women, children, and families are surrounded with compassion, support, and hope.
Mission
To defend the dignity of unborn human life through education, advocacy, and compassionate outreach that supports women, strengthens families, and inspires our community to choose life.
Purpose
To speak for those who cannot speak for themselves while equipping our community with truth, resources, and practical support that uplift both mother and child.
Why We Do What We Do
We believe every human life has inherent dignity and worth from the very beginning at the moment of conception. That belief compels us to speak for the preborn, support mothers, and strengthen families throughout Broward County. By sharing truth, offering compassion, and building a culture that values life, we work to ensure every child and every mother is seen, supported, and protected.

Meet Tewannah
Tewannah Aman is the Executive Director of Broward Right to Life. She offers hope, spiritual support and resources to those who are facing an unplanned pregnancy. She ministers to women who are struggling from a past abortion. Having had an abortion at 18, she understands the pain and heartache that one experiences from the loss of a child. God has healed her heart, and she wants for others to experience the same freedom that she has found in Christ.
She established the Biblically based, Christ-centered ministry called Guard Your Heart for women and teens. It is designed to help individuals put Jesus first in every aspect of their lives. It helps individuals build healthy relationships and friendships that reflect God’s love, wisdom, and glory. Through practical guidance, biblical truth, and heart-focused insight, this ministry encourages individuals to honor God in their choices, to strengthen their emotional and spiritual well-being, and to live with purpose, integrity, and intentionality in every relationship.
She is the author of the book, Guard Your Heart – don’t give it away, a guide to establishing wise, Christ-centered relationships. You can see her teachings on her Youtube channel and the website.
She is a mentor for First Priority, a student-led ministry located in Fort Lauderdale. She is also a jail ministry teacher and a Biblical Counselor at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale, where she and her husband, John, attend.
