Broward Right to Life Benefit Breakfast

Join with friends who love life for a special event on Sat., Nov. 14, 2026, 9-11 am, at the Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale Banquet Hall. The Benefit Breakfast is a special moment to meet with pro-life friends, enjoy an excellent breakfast, and hear our riveting speaker, Mayra Rodriguez!

Mayra spent 17 years working for Planned Parenthood, even receiving its 2016 Employee of the Year award. She wanted to help women, but as a clinic director, she quickly saw that selling abortions—meeting a quota of 50 a week—mattered more than anything.

And when she blew the whistle on fraud and negligence at the abortion giant — including failing to report child sexual abuse and sex trafficking — Planned Parenthood abruptly fired her. She later won a wrongful dismissal lawsuit and now works to expose Planned Parenthood, defend the preborn, and help workers leave the abortion business.

You’ll be fascinated and deeply moved by Mayra’s gripping account of life inside the nation’s leading abortion provider and how Christ gave her strength to leave.

40 Days for Life - Fall 2026

Broward Right to Life invites you to participate in the Fall 2026 40 Days for Life prayer vigil, September 23 through November 1. This international effort unites believers in prayer, fasting, and peaceful community outreach to help bring an end to abortion.

Whether you can commit to one hour or many, your presence matters. Join us in being a prayerful witness in our community and interceding for the unborn, their families, those impacted by abortion, and all who are facing difficult pregnancy decisions.

Life Chain -- Prayer to End Abortion

Life Chain 2026 takes place Sunday, October 4, from 2-3 p.m. along University Drive from Sample Road to Miramar Parkway. Participants offer a prayerful, peaceful witness, holding pro-life signs and remembering the children who have perished and the women who suffer emotional and physical trauma from abortion.

 Life Chain participants hold placards that read “Adoption, the Loving Option,” “Abortion Hurts Women,” “Life: The First Inalienable Right,” and “Jesus Forgives and Heals.”

The U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in a historic 2022 ruling. But abortion is still legal in Florida through six weeks. Abortionists in Broward take the lives of about 500 preborn babies each month. Pray for that to end--and for FULL legal protection to be restored to the preborn in Broward!

    The Problems Broward County is Facing

    Every day in Broward County, unborn children lose their lives to abortion, and countless families experience the pain and consequences that follow. In recent years, thousands of abortions have taken place locally—amounting to dozens of lives lost each day. Beyond the loss of these children, many women and men are left struggling with emotional, physical, and spiritual wounds that can last for years.

    Broward County also faces a cultural challenge: many people have been told that abortion is the only solution to an unexpected pregnancy. As a result, too many women feel pressured, unsupported, or unaware of the life-affirming help available to them. Our community must respond with truth, compassion, and practical support so that both mother and child are valued, protected, and given the chance to thrive.
