Excited to be pregnant in her early 20s, she told the father who immediately replied she wasn’t having a baby, but an abortion. Pressured, she relented. “He took me to make sure I had the abortion,” she said. “And when it happened, I knew I hated myself profoundly and forever.” Years later, she came to faith in Christ and found “there is reconciliation, wholeness and healing in Jesus Christ, even for abortion.” Jennifer O’Neill is today the spokesperson for the International Silent No More Awareness Campaign – a non-denominational, post-abortion healing organization. The National Right to Life Committee honored Jennifer with the Proudly Pro-Life Award for her work in communicating the negative impact abortion has on women and families. She appears often on radio and TV shows on behalf of the unborn. The subjects of post-abortive hope and healing are highlighted in all eight of Jennifer’s books.
