Life Chain 2010 will take place Sunday,

October 3, 2010, from 2-3 p.m. on University Drive from Sample Road to Miramar Parkway. Please mark your calendar and plan to attend this nationwide pro-life observance.

Broward Right to Life organizes the event locally with help from pro-life leaders in churches across the county. Participants bear prayerful, peaceful witness to the children who have perished and the women who suffer emotional and physical trauma from abortion.

Life Chain participants hold placards that read, “Adoption, the Loving Option,” “Abortion Hurts Women,” “Abortion is Murder,” “Life: The First Inalienable Right,” and “Jesus Forgives and Heals.”

The easy-to-hold signs are backprinted with prayer topics, songs, the Life Chain code of conduct, and the Life Chain purpose statement.

Life Chain participants pray, asking God to end the scourge of abortion that has taken more than 50 million lives in America since 1973 when the Supreme Court declared laws against abortion to be unconstitutional.
